The Raleigh Spring Lula Palooza is in the Exposition Center. More than 13,000 items including skirts, dresses, shirts, leggings and more will be on sale. Sizes range from XXS to 3XL. The event features multiple dressing rooms and a central check out location. Admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
While at the fairgrounds check out the antiques and one-of-a-kind gifts for moms or yourself at the Raleigh Flea Market. Shop for jewelry, home decor, clothing and more. The market is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with hundreds of vendors in the Commercial and Education buildings and outside grounds.
The Foundation For Fighting Blindness Benefit Event is Saturday in the Tobacco Pavilion at 6 p.m. The event features live music, BBQ and an auction in support of Foundation For Fighting Blindness. Individual tickets are $75. View the flyer for more information.
The Mid Atlantic Hound Association Dog Show is Saturday and Sunday in the Holshouser Building. This event is an AKC dog show for all hound breeds and includes veteran and puppy competitions. American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test is at 4 p.m. on Saturday. AKC Coonhound Bench Show is also at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Free dog show tours are offered both days. The TWHA Open Horse Show, featuring Hatler, Western, English and Saddle seat classes for all breeds, is this weekend at the Hunt Horse Complex. Activities begin at 9 a.m. daily. Free spectator admission.
