Hop on out to the fairgrounds this weekend. We’ve got a basket-full of events! Events include two church services for Easter Sunday. Calvary Chapel Cary will hold their annual Easter Celebration in Dorton Arena on Sunday. Church service starts at 10 a.m. and concludes at noon. Everyone is invited to attend. Admission is free. Weekend Update: March 11-13

The Carolina Collector Auto Fest is returning for its 29th year this weekend. Cars will be on display in Dorton Arena, Graham Building and outside grounds. This swap meet includes more than 125 vendors, car corral for buying and selling, and car and truck shows. Saturday’s show features vehicles made from 1900 to 1979 vehicles and Sunday’s features an  open car show with all makes, models, domestic and imports. Weekend Update: Feb. 19-21

If your dream is to travel the world in an RV come on out to to the Spring RV Show & Sale at the Fairgrounds this weekend in the Graham Building, Exposition Center, Dorton Arena and outside grounds. This event, promoted by the N.C. Dealers Association, offers the largest selection of new and used RVs under one roof. Winter weather is playing havoc with events at the Fairgrounds this weekend. The Next Level Fight Club Mixed Martial Arts Competition scheduled in the Scott Building on Saturday and DogGoneFast Flyball Club Flyball Tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in the Holshouser Building have been cancelled and will reschedule. It may only be January, but the Bass & Salt Water Fishing Expo in the Exposition Center and Graham Building this weekend will be the fishing event of the year. State Wrestling Team hosts Old Dominion in the Holshouser Building at 7 p.m. Come check out Wolfpack wrestling at its best. Weekend Update: Flea Market and other events return this weekend

After a month-long break, the Raleigh Flea Market reopens this weekend. Come browse hundreds of vendors as the Commercial and Education buildings and the grounds are transformed into the largest flea market in the area. The market is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other events: ‘Jump for Children’ Horse Show, benefiting Dukes Children’s Hospital is at the Hunt Horse Complex. It’s the first weekend of fall at the state fairgrounds, which means the N.C. State Fair is right around the corner. It also means that this the last weekend to enjoy the Raleigh Flea Market before in closes in preparation for the annual State Fair.
