Weekend Update: July 26-28

It’s time for another weekend at the fairgrounds, complete with a consignment sale, sportscard show and horse show double-feature. In the Graham Building and Expo Center, the Kids Exchange Consignment Sale will run Friday through Sunday. The sale will offer like-new clothes, toys and other children’s items at discounted prices. Most items will be sold at nearly one-third of their original value. Items will be marked half-price on Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public. Weekend Update: June 14-16

This weekend packs a punch at the fairgrounds in Raleigh; whatever your interests, there’s sure to be something you’ll enjoy. The Tarheel Triple Classic Quarter Horse Show will stretch from June 13-22, including this weekend in the Hunt Horse Complex. The Maker Faire: NC show will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Kerr Scott Building. This creative display of American innovation will feature all things homemade, from cookies to robots. Weekend Update: May 31-June 2

  The Capital Dressage Classic takes place at the Hunt Horse Complex through Sunday, beginning at 8 a.m. each day. This event is free for spectators. Youth from across the state will converge on the Graham Building on Saturday and Sunday for the N.C. Junior Beef Roundup. This livestock show includes steer and breed shows, showmanship competition, skill development, leadership development and family activities involving cattle. Jump for the Children Horse Show and more this weekend

This weekend, you can enjoy some of the best horse jumping on the East Coast and support the Duke Children’s Hospital at the Jump for the Children Horse Show at the Hunt Horse Complex. The horse show, which runs through Sunday, offers U.S. Equestrian Federation AA-rated hunter and jumper competitions each day. Raleigh Flea Market reopens Nov. 3

Nearly a million people had a “Bumper Crop of Fun” enjoying the exhibits, entertainment and food at the 2012 N.C. State Fair. Thanks to everyone who came out this year. This weekend at the fairgrounds kicks off with the Raleigh Indoor Holiday Classic at the Hunt Horse Complex. The event is hosted by Triangle Farms and will primarily feature the hunter jumper style. UPDATE: THE N.C. POTTERY FAIR HAS BEEN CANCELED THIS YEAR. More than 50 exhibitors from across the state will participate in the second annual N.C. Pottery Fair.
