We’ve got two big events at the Hunt Horse Complex as well as the Dixie Deer Classic, which will fill the Graham Building, Expo Center, Dorton Arena and Scott Building. Weekend Update: Feb. 24-26

If you haven’t been to the Raleigh Flea Market this year, take advantage of the mild temperatures and explore hundreds of vendors at the largest flea market in town. While you’re at the fairgrounds, enjoy the rest of the special events and activities happening this weekend. The Native American Indian Art Show will return to the Holshouser Building Friday through Sunday. Weekend Update: Feb. 16-19

Entrepreneurs, horses, felines, fish and the start of the 2012 Carolina Rollergirls season are all part of a presidential lineup of events this weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The Carolina Rollergirls return to Dorton Arena Saturday for the start of the 2012 season. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the first bout starts at 3:30 p.m. The second match begins at 5 p.m. Bout day admission is $14 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and $7 for children. Weekend Update: Feb. 9-12

Start your engines because it’s going to be a great weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The Graham Building, Expo Center and Dorton Arena will be packed with antique, vintage, contemporary and concept cars for the 25th Annual International Auto Expo. Weekend Update: Feb. 3-5

The Southern Farm Show, the largest agriculture exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia, wraps up today at the State Fairgrounds. More than 500 farm-equipment vendors, agricultural experts and commodity groups will be set up until 4 p.m. After the show, head over to the Hunt Horse Complex for the Southern National Draft Horse Pull at 6 p.m. The Southern Farm Show took up most of the fairgrounds this week, but there are other events going on this weekend at the Hunt Horse Complex and Scott Building. Weekend Update: Jan. 27-29

Saturday, you’re invited to come out to the fairgrounds and join the Triangle Area Chinese American Society of North Carolina as they usher in the Year of the Dragon. Now in its eighth year, the Chinese New Year celebration will feature performances, exhibits, traditional Chinese arts and crafts, and of course authentic Chinese food. Weekend Update: Jan. 20-22

If you have children and consider yourself a bit of a “frugalista,” make sure you come to the fairgrounds this weekend for the Kids Exchange Consignment Sale. The sale offers parents a chance to buy and sell gently used clothing, toys and other goods for their children, and is open to the public Friday to Sunday in the Graham Building and Expo Center. This weekend at the fairgrounds kicks off with the Raleigh Indoor Holiday Classic at the Hunt Horse Complex. The event is hosted by Triangle Farms and will primarily feature the hunter jumper style.
