Here’s a look at the fantastic line up of events at the Fairgrounds: The popular Kids Exchange Consignment Sale is returning to the Graham Building and Exposition Center this weekend, featuring more than 3 acres of gently used clothes, toys, accessories, furniture, bedding, books, videos and more. Weekend Update: Aug. 23-25

Enjoy a weekend of family-friendly activities at the fairgrounds, complete with a horse show, free inflatables and a Body Mind Spirit Expo; it will be something you won’t want to miss. The Triangle Farms Summer Classic horse show will run this weekend in the Hunt Horse Complex. The show is Friday through Sunday, beginning each day at 8 a.m. The event is an N.C. Hunter Jumper Association C Indoor show, and will feature a majority of competitors from North Carolina. Admission for spectators is free. Raleigh Flea Market reopens Nov. 3

Nearly a million people had a “Bumper Crop of Fun” enjoying the exhibits, entertainment and food at the 2012 N.C. State Fair. Thanks to everyone who came out this year. The fairgrounds will be full of vintage, classic and antique collectibles this weekend with everything from classic cars to ancient coins. Weekend Update: Feb. 16-19

Entrepreneurs, horses, felines, fish and the start of the 2012 Carolina Rollergirls season are all part of a presidential lineup of events this weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The Carolina Rollergirls return to Dorton Arena Saturday for the start of the 2012 season.
