The Carolina Collector Auto Fest is returning for its 29th year this weekend. Cars will be on display in Dorton Arena, Graham Building and outside grounds. This swap meet includes more than 125 vendors, car corral for buying and selling, and car and truck shows. Saturday’s show features vehicles made from 1900 to 1979 vehicles and Sunday’s features an open car show with all makes, models, domestic and imports. Swap-n-Shop is Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5. Hours for the weekend are Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $10. Seniors, military and students are admitted for $8. Children ages 11 to 15 are $5 and under age 10 is free.
Chatlee Boat Show & Sale will be in the Exposition Center Friday through Sunday. Check out the large selection of saltwater, skiffs, ski and deck boards. This show promises a boat for every budget. Hours are Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
Triangle Farms Spring Indoor II NCHJA “C” Indoors Show is Saturday and Sunday at the Hunt Horse Complex. This is a hunter jumper horse show with daily shows beginning at 8 a.m. Spectator admission is free.
The Capital City Gift & Garden Show presented by the Women’s Club of Raleigh is Saturday and Sunday in the Scott Building. This shopping event benefiting organization’s community commitments and program services. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $10 for one or both days.
Carolina Coin and Stamp Show is Saturday and Sunday in the Holshouser Building. Coins, postcards and stamps, currency will be available. Dealers will be buying and selling foreign, domestic and ancient currency. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
Bead Mercantile Show is Saturday and Sunday in the Martin Building. This show promises a great selection of beads and bead-related items from vendors from across the country and world. Items for sale include hand-made artisan glass beads,seed, pewter, semi-precious gemstones, findings, threads, cord and everything else you need to make beaded jewelry. Workshops also available. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. General admission is $6. Admission is discounted to $3 with registration at door or online. Children under 16 admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult.
The Raleigh Flea Market is Saturday and Sunday in the Commercial and Education Building and outside grounds. Come check out more the hundreds of vendors selling antiques, collectibles, bargains and more. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
