Weekend Update: RV show and sale, spring-like temps for Raleigh flea market


The Spring RV Show finds a parking spot this weekend a the N.C. State Fairgrounds.

Come on out to the fairgrounds this weekend and check out the “original” tiny houses at the North Carolina Dealers Assocation Spring RV Sale. The show and sale runs Friday through Sunday in the Graham Building, Exposition Center, Dorton Arena and grounds. Promoted by N.C. RV Dealers Association, this event offers the largest selection of new and used RVs under one roof. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.;  and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older and children 12 and under are free. The Body Mind Spirit Expo is also this weekend in the Scott Building.  This is a holistic living expo including health, wellness and metaphysical booths and lectures featuring natural and holistic health products, intuitive readings, enlightened art, crystals, massage and chiropractic care. Come explore over 100 exhibitor booths and 70 free lectures. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend admission covers both days and is $12 for adults; children under 10 are admitted free. Finally, if you are running out of ways to enjoy the spring-like temperatures, head on out to the Raleigh Flea Market for a morning or afternoon of browsing. Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Commercial and Education buildings and surrounding grounds. Come explore the hundreds of booths filled with antiques, clothes and handcrafted goods.
