Opa! It’s one of the tastiest weekends of the year. The popular Greek Festival returns Friday through Sunday in the Graham Building. The event will offer authentic Greek food, a marketplace, live music, dancing and more. A portion of the proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity. Hours are Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults. Admission for ages 13 to 19 and seniors is $2, and children ages 12 and under are admitted for free.
Attention bargain shoppers: The J. Crew Fall Regional Warehouse Sale is Thursday through Sunday in the Scott Building. The sale will include J. Crew, Madewell and Crewcuts merchandise and accessories. Some products may be of sample or second quality, and all sales are final. Hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
- The Arabian and Half-Arabian Sport Horse Nationals will run Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 10, in the Hunt Horse Complex. This will be the show’s 15th anniversary, and it will feature dressage, hunter jumper, pleasure, carriage driving and more. There will also be Tail Behind the Scenes tours offered.
- The AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day is Saturday in the Holshouser Building. Attendees can bring their dogs to the event for a microchip clinic, Canine Good Citizen testing, dog sport demonstrations, agility events, vendors, games and more. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
- The Shine a Light Family Fun Day is Saturday in the Martin Building and West Lot. Activities include bounce houses, karaoke, a K-9 unit, fire truck, food trucks and more. The goal of the event is to educate families on childhood grief and depression to help prevent youth suicide. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. and admission is free.
