We’re happy to report that the garden continues to grow, attracting a lot of attention in downtown Raleigh. Visitors stop and look at the first-time exhibit and Jeff Currie, an assistant curator with the History Museum, can often be found outdoors talking about the plants on display. If you have not seen the outdoor exhibit yet, plan to the next time you are in downtown Raleigh.
Maintaining a garden whether at home or downtown takes some work , and N.C. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler stopped by recently to lend a hand with topping and suckering tobacco.
