The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is hosting a series of workshops to help food entrepreneurs decide whether turning their small or part-time value-added food business into a full-time business is a move that makes sense for them.

The series includes three sessions: “Food Marketing in the Real World” on March 9; “Making Media Work for Your Food Business” on July 20; and “The Secrets of Marketing and Selling Success” on Nov. 9. Each session will be held at Carteret Community College’s Small Business Center in Morehead City. The college is sponsoring the series.

Listen in as Commissioner Troxler and Rhonda Garrison talk about this workshop series and how to register.

This would be a great series to offer in our depressed area of Halifax and Edgecumbe County as well as other areas of the state. Any chance of that or putting it on the internet?
    Thanks
