Today’s Topic: Food marketing workshops in August

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler sits down each week with the Southern Farm Network’s Rhonda Garrison to discuss “Today’s Topic.”

Southern Farm Network logoThis week Rhonda talks with Commissioner Troxler about two upcoming workshops aimed at helping food entrepreneurs market their products.

The August workshops are titled “Making Media Work for Your Food Business.” The first is scheduled for Aug. 11 at the Western North Carolina Ag Center in Fletcher. Registration deadline is Aug. 4.

The second will be on Aug. 17 at the Cunningham Research Station in Kinston. Registration deadline is Aug. 10.

Each of the workshops will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $30, which covers materials and lunch.
