Agriculture and agribusinesses are big employers in North Carolina, employing about 16 percent of the state’s workforce or 686,000 people. As a new wave of college graduates begin to look for work, some may find their way into agricultural careers they may not have envisioned when they started college. The range of jobs supporting agriculture is varied and long. And, agriculture is going to need these bright minds to push the industry forward.
