Shelley Swaim, an animal welfare inspector with the NCDA&CS Veterinary Division, recently completed the four-day Agricultural Emergency Response training offered by the Department of Homeland Security at the Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, Ala. The training enables responders to
